Your path to meaningful change and real correction begins with clinicians who listen and act in your best interest

When children are diagnosed with scoliosis... they rarely receive early intervention therapy.

What’s Included in Your Child’s First Appointment

  • Consultation: Speak with one of our scoliosis specialists to understand your child's condition and discuss your concerns.

  • Examination: A physical spinal assessment to check for curvature, alignment and mobility.

  • LiDAR Scan: A non-invasive 3D body scan for accurate posture and spinal mapping.

  • Detailed Posture & Scoliosis Assessment: Comprehensive review of your child's spinal curve and posture patterns.

  • X-ray (if appropriate): We offer advanced imaging with in-house digital x-ray

Real Stories, Real Change

Lucy, 14 – Avoided Surgery

Lucy came to us with a 38° thoracic curve. With early intervention and consistent brace use supported by ScoliBalance therapy, her curve improved to under 30°. She avoided the surgical path that her consultant had initially anticipated.

Tom, 11 – From Anxiety to Confidence

Tom was embarrassed to wear a brace at school. We worked closely with his parents and teachers, ensuring his brace fit invisibly under his uniform. His posture improved dramatically within six months. He’s now one of our most enthusiastic success stories.

Ella, 13 – Making Rapid Progress

After a delayed referral, Ella’s curve reached 45°. Her parents reached out after reading our eBook. Within weeks of starting with us, she had her brace fitted and began ScoliBalance sessions. Six months later, her curve measured 34° and her pain had significantly reduced.

Frequently asked questions

Let us put your mind at ease

Will a brace really help my child’s scoliosis?

Yes, early bracing can reduce curve progression and in many cases help avoid surgery. At Dorsi, we use 3D custom ScoliBrace paired with expert therapy to give your child the best possible chance for improvement.

Is private scoliosis care faster than NHS care?

We understand how hard it is to wait. While NHS care is valuable, many families come to us because we can start assessments and treatment within weeks, not months. Acting early can make a real difference.

The average NHS waiting time is reportedly 17 months.

Are Dorsi braces uncomfortable or bulky?

Our braces are custom-made for your child’s body using hybrid materials. They’re discreet enough to wear under clothes and built with your child’s comfort and confidence in mind. They are no silk pyjama; but most children quickly adapt.

For peace of mind we offer a ONE-PRICE bracing solution. All visits associated with the brace are included in the price. That includes the fitting, all follow up visits, x-rays and LiDAR scans. Most clinics only include three visits, and we find some of our patients need a few extra adjustment visits as they grow. This ensures that the brace continues to provide the highest level of correction possible, whilst making sure it is comfortable enough to wear it for the prescribed number of hours. We don't think it is fair to charge £299 every time your child feels a little uncomfortable.. growing is an integral part of the process.

How much does it cost?

THIS MONTH ONLY: Your child’s first full consultation, assessment, and 3D scan is just £179. But spaces are limited and only available if booked online.

If bracing is recommended, we offer flexible payment options, with many families choosing to spread the cost monthly with a 0% interest plan. Depending on the terms that you choose, the average cost is £99-129 per month.

I’m concerned that wearing a brace will make my child's muscles weak

This is a great question, but applies to TLSO braces that apply pressure from all directions.

Our braces are different in that their purpose is to place your child's spine in an overcorrected position, with voids built into the brace to allow movement in specific directions. This means that the muscles will be working and retraining.

Traditional TLSO braces still prescribed by most centres do "splint" the spine and have demonstrated muscle weakness with prolonged use.

A research paper has found this is not the case with 3-D over corrective braces such as the ScoliBrace

Would this mean that my child won’t be able to do any sports?

Our aim is to have your child living a life as full as possible.

Children can normally carry on their normal activities. In fact, we actively encourage all types of physical activity and sport, both Scoliosis specific exercises and general activity. Children are allowed additional hours out of their brace for sport and exercise up to a maximum three additional hours every single day.. So we find our bracing patience are motivated to become a lot more active during bracing, and this is a very beneficial to their longtime spinal health.
